On Tuesday, June 23, 2015, ACES students were presented with a problem based learning case study and learned how to create a plan of care for their patient. In the given scenario, students assumed the role of a medical student. After being provided their patient’s health risk assessment report, students created a plan of care consisting of lifestyle modification and behavior change recommendations in order to improve their patient’s next visit to the doctor. Students then gave oral case presentations on their findings. After students concluded their presentations, they were able to practice drawing blood using a simulation arm.
